Bien que des films tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents (c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire un nomin\u00e9 aux Oscars, un nomin\u00e9 nomin\u00e9), chacun est monumental \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re. <\/p>\n<p>Le premier drame de science-fiction de Francis Ford Coppola <em>M\u00e9galopole<\/em>suivant un architecte visionnaire, jou\u00e9 par Adam Driver, qui r\u00eave de transformer la future ville de New Rome en un paradis utopique avec l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un m\u00e9tal magique. Les critiques n&rsquo;\u00e9taient pas gentils avec le film de Coppola, mais une r\u00e9ception beaucoup plus chaude a accueilli Brady Corbet <em>Le brutaliste<\/em>un drame plus terre-\u00e0-terre mais non moins \u00e9pique \u00e0 la suite d&rsquo;un survivant de l&rsquo;Holocauste d&rsquo;origine hongroise (Adrien Brody) qui \u00e9migre aux \u00c9tats-Unis et dont le pass\u00e9 en tant qu&rsquo;architecte accompli devient progressivement clair. <\/p>\n<p>Mis \u00e0 part les documentaires, les architectes et l&rsquo;architecture ont servi des r\u00f4les vari\u00e9s, mais particuliers dans le film: l&rsquo;art de l&rsquo;architecture, lorsqu&rsquo;il est mis en lumi\u00e8re, est fr\u00e9quemment utilis\u00e9 pour refl\u00e9ter m\u00e9taphoriquement ce qui se passe entre des personnalit\u00e9s imposantes. En tant qu&rsquo;occupation, cependant, l&rsquo;architecture est souvent trait\u00e9e comme un signifiant fade: les architectes sont souvent des int\u00e9r\u00eats romantiques solidement de la classe moyenne, la carri\u00e8re sp\u00e9cifique accessoire. Bien que virant de l&rsquo;effrayant \u00e0 la stupidit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9pop\u00e9e, ces 10 films vont tous un peu plus loin.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2 id=\"the-towering-inferno-1974\"><em>L&rsquo;inferno imposant<\/em> (1974)<\/h2>\n<div class=\"mx-auto mt-8 w-full max-w-4xl\">\n<div id=\"video-container-nyTqrtZFWeQ\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>S\u00fbrement une histoire \u00e9difiante pour les jeunes architectes en herbe, <em>L&rsquo;inferno imposant<\/em> nous rappelle que m\u00eame Paul Newman fait des erreurs (et le simple fait d&rsquo;\u00eatre chaud ne fait pas n\u00e9cessairement d&rsquo;un bon architecte). L&rsquo;acteur incarne Doug Roberts, designer du b\u00e2timent mural du monde: tour de verre de San Francisco (fictif, Dieu merci). Nous revenons quelques mois pour rencontrer l&rsquo;architecte, jou\u00e9 par Jeremy Irons, qui a con\u00e7u un b\u00e2timent (plut\u00f4t cool) qui est le sommet absolu de la vie moderne \u00e9l\u00e9gante &#8211; du moins pour les r\u00e9sidents les plus riches qui vivent sur les \u00e9tages sup\u00e9rieurs. Lorsque la guerre des classes \u00e9clate in\u00e9vitablement entre eux et les habitants inf\u00e9rieurs moins fortun\u00e9s, les choses deviennent de plus en plus sombres, mais l&rsquo;architecte reste libre, pendant un certain temps, pour philosophiser de fa\u00e7on d\u00e9licate sur l&rsquo;impact de ses conceptions sur la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Le deuxi\u00e8me des films du r\u00e9alisateur dans lequel il joue le Monsieur Hulot d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9ment maladroit (et sa premi\u00e8re couleur), celui-ci trouve Hulot passer du temps avec son neveu et sa famille dans leur maison ultra-moderne et sans rel\u00e2che dans un nouveau d\u00e9veloppement de banlieue parisienne Paris . La villa arpel est brillamment, de mani\u00e8re hilarante, la villa est un triomphe de style sur la substance, avec le confort et la tradition c\u00e9dant \u00e0 chaque tour de la modernit\u00e9 capitaliste. Les chaises sont presque impossibles \u00e0 s&rsquo;asseoir, les dalles sont positionn\u00e9es pour qu&rsquo;il soit impossible de marcher, et les appareils apparemment pratiques sont si forts, vous pouvez \u00e0 peine penser. L&rsquo;architecte de Harlem Flipper Purify (Wesley Snipes) a construit une carri\u00e8re impressionnante pour lui-m\u00eame, ainsi qu&rsquo;une vie de famille solide &#8211; du moins jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;il commence une liaison avec une temp\u00e9rature (Annabella Sciorra) qui lui est attribu\u00e9e par une agence. \u00catre architecte dans un film est souvent une fa\u00e7on serme de sugg\u00e9rer le succ\u00e8s de la classe moyenne et des cols blancs, et est presque enti\u00e8rement limit\u00e9 aux personnages blancs (pensez <em>Sans sommeil \u00e0 Seattle<\/em>)); Malgr\u00e9 les \u00e9normes contributions des cr\u00e9ateurs de structures noirs \u00e0 l&rsquo;histoire du design am\u00e9ricain, le pourcentage de blancs sur le terrain reste quelque part dans les ann\u00e9es 90. Dans les films, ce nombre est plus proche de 100% &#8211; Honestly Flipper est le seul architecte cin\u00e9matographique non blanc que j&rsquo;ai rencontr\u00e9 lors de l&rsquo;assemblage de ce tour d&rsquo;horizon.
