L’autorit\u00e9 belge de la concurrence (BMA) suspend l’introduction de la r\u00e9glementation U23 dans la Challenger Pro League. Cela signifie que le club traditionnel RWDM Bruxelles peut \u00e9galement jouer en deuxi\u00e8me ligue lors de la saison 2026\/2027, \u00e0 condition qu’il re\u00e7oive la licence n\u00e9cessaire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En revanche, le Club NXT, l’\u00e9quipe U23 du FC Bruges, doit \u00eatre rel\u00e9gu\u00e9 en Nationale 1, la premi\u00e8re ligue de football amateur, comme avant-dernier du classement.<\/p>\n

Il n’est pas encore s\u00fbr que le RWDM soit effectivement autoris\u00e9 \u00e0 jouer en Challenger Pro League la saison prochaine, car le club de Molenbeek ne remplit pas actuellement les conditions administratives. L’\u00e9quipe bruxelloise, qui traverse une p\u00e9riode difficile tant financi\u00e8rement qu’administrativement, n’a pas re\u00e7u de licence pour la Challenger Pro League pour la saison 2026\/2027 de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Belge de Football (URBSFA). Le verdict concernant l’appel contre le refus de licence est toujours en attente.<\/p>\n

Dans le cadre d’une r\u00e9forme globale des comp\u00e9titions de premi\u00e8re et deuxi\u00e8me ligues, la Pro League a stipul\u00e9 en f\u00e9vrier 2025 qu’au moins quatre \u00e9quipes de jeunes devraient \u00eatre repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans la Challenger Pro League. Outre le Club NXT, il s’agissait d’Anderlecht Futures, Jong Gent et Jong Genk. S’ils se retrouvent dans une zone de rel\u00e9gation, la pire \u00e9quipe A parmi les \u00e9quipes non rel\u00e9gu\u00e9es serait rel\u00e9gu\u00e9e \u00e0 sa place.<\/p>\n

C’est exactement ce qui s’est pass\u00e9 \u00e0 la mi-avril apr\u00e8s la derni\u00e8re journ\u00e9e : outre le dernier olympique de Charleroi, le RWDM Bruxelles a \u00e9galement d\u00fb \u00eatre rel\u00e9gu\u00e9, m\u00eame si les \u00e9quipes de jeunes du RSC Anderlecht, du KRC Genk et du FC Bruges ont termin\u00e9 derri\u00e8re l’\u00e9quipe de Molenbeek.<\/p>\n

Plusieurs clubs de deuxi\u00e8me division m\u00e9contents de la situation ont port\u00e9 plainte contre ce r\u00e8glement.
